Dr. Kristīne Pčolkina is an experienced gynecologist and colposcopy specialist who provides comprehensive and individually tailored care for women at different stages of life. She graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at Riga Stradiņš University in 2009 and completed her residency program at the University of Latvia in 2016, obtaining the qualification of gynecologist-obstetrician.
In her professional practice, Dr. Pčolkina specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecological conditions, with a particular focus on the in-depth diagnosis and therapy of cervical, vaginal, and vulvar diseases. She performs colposcopy and ultrasound examinations to ensure precise and timely diagnosis.
Currently, Dr. Pčolkina is a board member of the Latvian Society for Colposcopy and served as its chairperson from 2018 to 2023.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Pčolkina is actively involved in public education on the prevention of human papillomavirus (HPV) and the importance of vaccination, emphasizing its crucial role in preventing cervical cancer and other HPV-related oncological diseases. She is the head of the Latvian Cervical Cancer Education Foundation.
She is also a member of the Latvian Association of Gynecologists and Obstetricians.
Dr. Pčolkina is a teaching physician at Riga Stradiņš University in residency programs for gynecology, obstetrics, and family medicine.
At “KZS Clinic,” she performs only electroexcision under local anesthesia.
